Why is my silver getting darker?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time when exposed to air, moisture, and sulfur compounds. This is completely normal and does not affect the quality of the metal.

Can I shower while wearing my jewelry?

We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or using a sauna to preserve its finish.

Can I wear my jewelry every day?

Yes.

Every Nowar Studio object is designed to be worn regularly. Thoughtful care will help preserve its original finish while allowing the materials to evolve naturally over time.

Can I sleep while wearing my jewelry?

We recommend removing your jewelry before sleeping to reduce unnecessary friction and wear.

Can I wear my jewelry in the sea or swimming pool?

We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming. Salt water and chlorine can affect precious metals, pearls, enamel and gold vermeil.

Will my gold vermeil fade?

Gold vermeil naturally develops a patina through everyday wear. Proper care will help preserve the finish for as long as possible.

Will every pearl look exactly the same?

No.

Every pearl is naturally unique in its colour, shape, surface and lustre. These variations are part of the design and make each object slightly different.

How should I store my jewelry?

Store each piece in a dry place, ideally inside its original Nowar Studio box.

Keeping pieces separate helps reduce scratches and limits exposure to humidity.

How do I clean tarnished sterling silver?

Use a soft silver polishing cloth for regular maintenance.

For deeper cleaning, wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, dry immediately, then polish gently if needed.

Is every Nowar Studio piece handcrafted?

Yes.

Every Nowar Studio object is handcrafted entirely in-house, from fabrication through finishing and assembly.

Does my jewelry include authentication?

Every object is supplied with a Product Card containing authentication access through its QR code, together with care guidance and warranty information.

What is the difference between sterling silver and gold vermeil?

Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver.

Gold vermeil is sterling silver coated with a thick layer of gold.

Both are precious metals, but gold vermeil requires additional care to preserve its surface.

Can I use commercial silver-cleaning liquid?

Avoid aggressive silver dips, abrasive products, and household cleaning chemicals, especially on pieces containing pearls, enamel, vermeil, or mixed materials.

Use a soft polishing cloth or mild soap and lukewarm water unless specific guidance is provided by Nowar Studio.

Can I use an ultrasonic cleaner?

Do not use ultrasonic cleaners on pearls, enamel, vermeil, or delicate mixed-material pieces.
