Aion Pearl Earrings

An Aion half-sphere at the lobe from which a baroque freshwater pearl hangs freely on a short link. Both are products of nature, shaped by entirely different forces: one accumulated over years of slow, involuntary growth inside a living shell; one sculpted with intention, mark by mark, from raw metal. The distance between those two processes is made visible in a single earring. Together they create a tension that neither material could carry alone - the unresolved against the perfect, the made against the grown. Sold as a pair.
